Career-hunting in the I.T. field is a true Catch-22: you can't get a job without the experience, and you can't get experience without a job! A standard college education will gain you an edge in the fierce world of career-hunting, but that still won't count towards any work experience.

What is needed is a new outlook on education for the technology field: "real-world experience" training. Essentially, with the right resources and guidance, you can prepare yourself for the career you want, make a better impression in interviews, and have a huge edge over the competition.

ParityBit's goal is ultimately to be known as the top resource for I.T. career training, preparation, and counseling. We also want proper "real-world" training to be accepted as a substitute for work experience. Sure, work experience is handy, but it is inconsistent, never guaranteed, incomplete, and easy to embellish. Structured, documented, trusted training should be worth much more.
